I have always had an interest in helping people with their health and well-being in more than just the physical sense. I think it is important to remember that the healing process involves the combination of body, mind and spirit, and we are greater than just our physical beings - I really believe the phrase, "We are spiritual beings having a human experience."

Throughout my life, I have had a diversified series of jobs that left me feeling stressed out and unfulfilled, as if I were missing my intended purpose. In 1993, there was a calling to become a Reiki Master, and through a series of events, or what I consider a spiritual epiphany, I was guided into service at a state operated home for the mentally and physically disabled and eventually that position lead me into the service of massage. Those sweet souls gave me far more than what I gave to them. My life was truly blessed by them.

At the age of 51 years, I enrolled at SHI Integrative Medical Massage School in Dayton, and have been a licensed medical massage therapist in Ohio since January, 2002. I have continued to expand my knowledge to include a variety of different modalities so that I can offer a greater variety of healing techniques. When I give a massage, whether it is for relaxation or pain relief, I think of it as an open ended prayer that my client will receive their highest good. My clients tell me that not only do they experience relief from their pain/illness, they also often gain emotional and spiritual benefits as well. My greatest desire is that "The Gift of Love" comes through enriching both our lives.

I am also the mother of two fine adults, who have graced me with a wonderful son-in-law and a daughter-in-law as well as six "angelic" grandchildren, all of whom are the loves of my life.
